Singles & Mixed Doubles Competition, 2000
Competition Rules:
Matches will consist of two straight sets:
3 points for winning both sets;
1 point for winning a set;
1 point each for a 6-6 situation in a set.
( There are no tie breaks to decide who wins a set )
In these circumstances if you won 1 set and drew 6-6 in the next set you would get two points; your opponents would get 1 point for the 6-6.
The competition will commence from the beginning of April, 2000, and any competitors must have completed at least half of their matches by the end of July. Non compliance will incur automatic scratching from the competition the player or players are involved in. There may be a valid reason for being unable to get half of your games in by the end of July: in these circumstances it is your responsibility to bring it to the attention of a committee member for further consideration.
As you complete games please inform Eric, either by direct contact, or by writing your scores on the available slips and leaving them on the notice board.
League tables will be posted on the board and on this web site at regular intervals for each competition.
